The Friends of the Cromford Canal (FCC) is managed by a committee of Trustees, who currently meet twelve times a year in their work to actively promote the canal and its restoration. They are also responsible for the organisation of social events, merchandise and maintaining archives relating to the canal. Sub-committees have been established to run the trip boat and for strategic restoration projects.
The Friends publish a quarterly newsletter, ‘The Portal’, which gives members news of the restoration and general information about the canal. Past editions of ‘Portal’ are available in the Library.
An e-Newsletter has been launched to compliment the membership magazine ‘The Portal’ Regular updates from across the charity.
